Private Lessons Lessons are 30 minutes weekly and include theory, lesson book and supplementary materials. Students have the opportunity to practice theory through computer programs as well as games and activities. Through various incentives and blog trivia, students can earn special prizes or awards. |

Student Opportunities FESTIVALS AND CONTESTS:

Celebration of Hymns - Students are judged for all levels and levels 5-8 who rate superior may perform in a recital.

LMTA Piano Competition - Students in grade 3-12 prepare contest literature by memory. The festival section of this event is for students to be judged but not to compete.

Spring Piano Festival - Students are judged for all levels. Requires two memorized pieces.

Student Affiliate Activities - All of these require membership in Student Affiliate. |

Theory test Ensemble - preparation for the state convention performance with the Texas Music Teacher's Association. |
